Food Allergies
Food allergy information is almost overwhelming! It is surprising that the very thing that we rely on to provide us nutrition can also make us feel so bad, or even kill us. Food allergies can develop over time. What was so tasty last week may make you sick next week!
Allergies to food can be difficult to determine. Perhaps you have a raspy voice, or a bothersome little cough. Or your visit to the restroom shortly after eating is becoming more frequent. If you suspect something is going on with your body and food, it is very helpful to keep a journal. Nothing fancy needed, just jotting down what you had and your following symptoms could help diagnosis the problem. Take your list to your healthcare provider and discuss!
The law actually defines some of the top food allergies:

Fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod)
Crustacean shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, shrimp)
Tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans)
